Samuel Smith & Son

The installation at the Samuel Smith & Son Distribution Centre involved the replacement of the existing Main Switchboard (containing the site electricity revenue meter) with a new Main Switchboard containing RCD protection and sufficient capacity to accommodate possible future upgrades including central emergency lighting test facilities, soft-wired workstations and lighting control systems, as well as the incorporation of existing adjacent-located mechanical control panels. The existing exit signage and emergency escape lighting was also completely tested, and any failures replaced with new ‘running-man’-style pictograph signs.
